National Day of Prayer for Law Enforcement Officers

National Day of Prayer for Law Enforcement Officers

This day has been observed the third Friday in June of each year since 2011. This is a day set aside to pray for our law enforcement officers. However, I believe we should not set just one day aside to pray for them, but we should pray for the every day!

The National Day of Prayer for Law Enforcement Officers is an annual observance that falls on the third Friday of June. It was established to encourage people to pray for the men and women serving as law enforcement officers. On this day, communities come together to pray for the officers’ protection, guidance, and the well-being of their families.

It’s a day to recognize the challenges and dangers law enforcement officers face daily and to show appreciation for their commitment to maintaining public safety. Individuals, churches, and community groups often hold events to honor these public servants through prayer, reflecting on the vital role they play in society.

This special day of prayer aims to provide spiritual support and express gratitude for law enforcement officers’ dedication to their communities. This year, the day will be marked on Friday, June 21, 2024.

In 2024, that is June 21st!

Check out this Police Officers Prayer!

I would like to thank all the men and women who serve to keep us safe. Make sure you thank a police officer. I do that to all the ones I see.

Here is a list of ideas of how to show appreciation to your local law enforcement officer(s).

Maybe you can make a survival kit for a police officer filled with all kinds of goodies.

Make sure you keep the men and women serving to protect us in your prayers. The Police, Military, Fire, Paramedics, Etc.

Maybe you can shine a Blue Light on your front porch for support for your local police.

Everyday should be a day we pray for our police officers!
