Happy 4th of July – I want to wish you a very Happy and safe 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July

4th of July

The 4th of July, Independence Day, is a day we set aside to celebrate our freedoms in America, our independence. These freedoms today seem to be gradually being taken away from us for our beliefs.

Check out these facts about this festive holiday.

I believe today in America the freedom of religion is becoming freedom from religion. No matter what laws may past, Jesus Christ will always rule and reign. He is always in control too! You cannot stop Jesus Christ. One day ever knee will bow and every tongue will confess!

I am glad my true freedom is found in Jesus Christ. He is the one that broke the chains of sin and died on the Cross to save a sinner like me. Christ died and conquered death and conquered sin. For those saved, His righteousness is on us.

This 4th of July, I ask that you be a bold witness for Jesus Christ. Maybe go out and witness to someone. Maybe hand out gospel tracts. Let’s not only use holidays to witness, but we should witness on a daily basis.

After all, on the 4th of July, we are more than likely out with a group of people or around a spot with a group of people. Maybe that would be the great day to hand out gospel tracts and witness to those around you. Even those you don’t know!

Day of Salvation!

Today is the day of salvation! It could be there very day for salvation. We are never promised tomorrow. You never know, that person you just witness too may not live past the end of this day or even tomorrow.

Share Jesus! Don’t keep Him to yourself. If you had the cure for cancer, wouldn’t you share it with others so they don’t suffer? We have the cure to sin, which is like a form of cancer. And that cure is Jesus!

I would like to wish everyone a safe and Happy 4th!

Let us not forget to pray for our nation to pray for our governmental & country leaders.

  24. Why Independence Day is Celebrated on the 4th of July

Soon it will be 250 years!

In 4 years I will be going on 50 and we will be celebrating 250 years of independence in 2026. That’s if the Lord doesn’t come before then or He chooses to take me home before then.

Here is a Bible verse for today, this verse is found in Psalm 33:12.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord

Here is a quote form Decision Magazine, a magazine of Billy Graham.

July 4th is the USA’s Independence Day … For the believer, every day is Dependence Day on the Lord …

This is so true, we are nothing without Christ. We must truly rely on Him and Him alone, not ourselves, not our church, our government or our denomination, etc. It is Christ Alone who is our Cornerstone!
