Worst Critic is our own view and thoughts toward ourselves. We tend to be harder on ourselves than others at times. #WorstCritic
Worst Critic
We often are really hard on our own self than we are with others. That can be because we don’t want to look bad in front of others.
Self-Criticism is experienced as negative internal thoughts about one’s self or, more specifically, about one’s behaviors or attributes. That turns into us being harder on our own self.
Besides nothing we can do, can earn us salvation. It is by the finished work on the Cross by Jesus Christ. So we can stop doubting our self, yes, easier said than done. Trust in Jesus Christ.
More than not, we believe the lies we believe about our self, the lies from the enemy. Remember God will encourage us to do His will! The devil will keep us away from that.
We also must stop comparing our self to others. That is what causes us mostly to be the worst critic. God uses each and everyone one of us differently. We all have different gifts, strengths, weaknesses, etc. That is why we ALL make up the body of Christ. (Same applies, we all sin differently too – as we are all drawn to sin differently).
God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
1 Samuel 16:7
One thing we need to remember is that the way we see our self and the way others see us, is not the same way God Sees us!
