World Prayer Day

World Day of Prayer is a global movement established by Christian women joined together to observe a common day of prayer each year on the first Friday of March. Communities and the world are encouraged to join in prayer and action for peace and justice. This movement is initiated and carried out by women in more than 170 countries and regions. #WorldPrayerDay

2020 theme is Rise! Take your Mat and Walk with Zimbabwe host writing country.

Not to be confused with National Day of Prayer.
