Why do we act surprised by sin? We live in a fallen world that needs the gospel. This will continue and only will get worse. Like the LGBTQ community recently tried to recreate the famous Last Supper painting by Leonardo da Vinci as a mockery at the opening Olympics at Paris. #Paris2024 #bgbg2 #lastsupper
Why do we act surprised by sin?
We need to be bold and share the gospel. Why be surprised, even in Jesus’ time, He said you will be licked because of me. See Matthew 10:22-24.
We need to share the gospel. We will answer for who we don’t share. Also keep in mind that they will one day realize their sin, but by then it might be too late. Every knee will bow. See Philippians 2:10-11.
We must share the gospel with urgency and love of Christ. There is a write and wrong way. Each person is different. We must witness! It is up to the Holy Spirit to convict. We just plant the seed.
Most mock because they are threaded by the gospel.
Keep in mind not everyone is saved and truly know Jesus. Most prefer to stay in their sin. Remember darkness hates the light, light exposes sin.
BTW, us resharing their agenda is what they want. They want the canter to try to bring us down to their level to say looks at this quote “Christian” quote.
Yes, it is a disgrace … They are still in their sin. Living in a country that has freedoms, this means sin will be shown more. Just like we have a freedom of religion, that includes them having freedom from religion.
We are not perfect either and still need the grace of God. Each of us has a sin the be sets us.
Keep sharing the gospel. How many of you complaining are not personally witnessing? Keep praying for lost souls to be saved.
Note: LGBTQ stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (or Questioning). This acronym is used to represent a diverse range of sexual orientations that go against God’s Word.
Update:
The recent controversy around the LGBTQ+ depiction of “The Last Supper” happened during the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics. The performance included drag queens and other performers in a scene that looked similar to Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting.
Thomas Jolly, the artistic director of the ceremony, explained that the goal was to promote inclusivity and diversity, not to be subversive. The scene was meant to represent the Greek god Dionysus and highlight the absurdity of violence between human beings. However, the visual similarity to “The Last Supper” led to backlash from some conservative and Christian groups who found it offensive.
Many Christian sites and communities expressed strong reactions to the LGBTQ+ depiction of “The Last Supper” at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony. Here are some key points:
- Offense and Outrage: Many Christians found the depiction offensive and blasphemous. They felt that the performance mocked their beliefs and sacred traditions.
- Calls for Boycott: Some Christian leaders and communities called for a boycott of the Olympics due to the perceived disrespect towards Christianity.
- Public Statements: Prominent Christian figures and organizations publicly condemned the performance. They emphasized the need for respect towards religious beliefs and traditions.
- Solidarity and Support: There were also expressions of solidarity from other religious communities who found the depiction disrespectful.
