C.S. Lewis (full name: Clive Staples Lewis) was a British writer, academic, and Christian apologist. He was born on November 29, 1898, in Belfast, Ireland, and died on November 22, 1963, in Oxford, England.
Lewis is perhaps best known for his series of fantasy novels, The Chronicles of Narnia. The series, which includes classics such as The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Prince Caspian, has sold over 100 million copies worldwide and has been adapted into multiple movies and TV series.
