“Accordingly, whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in the inner rooms will be proclaimed upon the housetops.”

I’ve always heard something similar … what we cover, God will uncover. But what we uncover, God will cover. I think this is similar as if we try to hide sin, it will get found. While when we confess our sin, God will cover it with the precious blood of Jesus.
