TBN and Big Idea Content Group have announced that they will partner to produce all new and original episodes of VeggieTales®, the leading children’s faith-based property. Coming to TBN in the Fall of 2019, each episode will remain true to the classic VeggieTales brand to deliver clever storytelling, Bible based lessons, and memorable songs.
The first new VeggieTales episode will be a Christmas special that will premiere during the 2019 holiday season on TBN and distributed on DVD and Digital download by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. In the new Christmas special Bob and Larry and the entire VeggieTales crew bring a fresh, new story of the promise of Christmas: God With Us.
Other new episodes will explore beloved Bible stories and lessons, including a nine-episode series on the fruits of the Spirit, as well as new adventures starring beloved super-hero characters LarryBoy and the League of Incredible Vegetables. VeggieTales is distinguished as the most successful faith-based children’s franchise of all time.

Original VeggieTales creators Phil Vischer and Mike Nawrocki will reprise their respective roles as the voices of Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber. Vischer and Nawrocki will also join the creative team, led by show-runner Todd Waterman (Mulan, Transformers Prime). The episodic series will provide VeggieTales content through 2021.
Big Idea Content Group and TBN are working together to launch the new episodes on the TBN broadcast channel and all other media platforms. Together with their teams, they will develop a comprehensive and extensive marketing plan to support domestic and international distribution.
