TVA to Close Bull Run Plant

They plan to cut back on coal and use other methods. The closer of Bull Run Fossil Plant in Anderson County will stop by December 2023.

Bull Run is the only single-generator coal-fired power plant in the TVA system. This plant started in 1967.

There are over 100 employees, many which will retire out and the others will get help finding new employment.
