Tornado takes out Mississippi church, baptism still takes place the next day – A tornado destroyed the First Pentecostal Church in Columbus, MS. The tornado blew the walls and roof off the building. However, the church pews stayed in tact. No one was inside the church at the time of the tornado either.

“I don’t know what God’s plan is, I always know it’s gonna work together for our good,” Blaylock said Sunday morning as his congregation met outside of the rubble for a baptism service that brought the 61-year-old pastor to tears.

Blaylock said that Sunday morning as his congregation met outside of the rubble of the church, where they still conducted a baptism. That even brought tears to the pastor.
Nine people were baptized that Sunday morning of the 24th, where maybe 100 people showed up.
There are plans to rebuild.
