I, Lilly Bug, Snuck outside! I did stay close to the apartment.

My hoomans went outside to find me, after they searched the apartment. I had them worried.

I did keep running from them and crying. I was scared.

They final were able to corner me and get me back inside. I even ended up getting some treats too.

I stopped crying after I was inside and was able to let my hoomans pick me up and pet on me.

I know it was scary for my hoomans and myself.

I think it was for Joel the Brave too. Dadda hooman said he was by the front door. He kept sniffing at the door and wouldn’t leave the front door.

Dadda hooman thought he was waiting for momma hooman to come home. My brother loves me. I guess he was trying to tell dadda hooman but he didn’t get it.

We did say we would share our adventures on this blog and this is no exception.

For my cat readers, have you snuck out of the house?

If so share your experience in the comments.

For my cat parents, has your cat snuck out before?

  1. At first, I was afraid to let my cat outside, but he got depressed because of it, and finally he got out and came back, and I realized he’d come back and could take care of himself.

But then my other cat had me terribly worried when she ran away, first for a few days, and then for two and a half months! I felt like I had a fever. I don’t remember much of that time. It was like walking in a fog. But she came back. Cats have you worried all the time.

  2. Oh LilyBug – yes, several of us have snuck out over the years. Like you, once we’re out we find it sort of scary. But it’s sort of fun to play chase with our huMom. But we like feeling safe – and especially at this time of year, warm !

  3. Beep is currently out and about – has been for several days. We can hear his collar, and occasionally get a glimpse of him, but he’s scaring the peas out of us. He’s partially blind. The other felines are worried – and there are some very territorial cats outside. We hope he sees reason soon. Stubborn little cuss!
