Slow Children at Play

In this blog post of Road Signs of the Bible I want to share with you about the Slow Children at Play.

We usually see this street sign in residential areas and the speed limit is usually really slow too. This sign warns us that children could be outside playing as we are driving. I want to share how this sign relates to us in the Bible.

One after we accept Jesus Christ as our personal savior we come a Child of God. See Galatians 3:26.

The Bible even tells us we must come to the Father like children. Matthew 18:2-3, below.

Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, ³ and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

Even Mark 10:15 says the same thing as above, as well as, Luke 18:16.

This means we must have total surrender and trust for Him. Trust that He will take care of us and provide for us. Coming to Him like a child, means we are humble and know we cannot do anything without Him. When we see this sign let it remind you that we must come to Him like a child.
