Signs your kitten imprinted on you
I’m MissPrints and I was just a new kitten when Steve found me and rescued me. I was so young and imprinted on him.
Here are some signs your kitten might be imprinted on you:
- Constant companionship: They follow you everywhere, often sitting on your lap or near your feet.
- Affectionate behavior: They purr, knead, or headbutt you, showing signs of contentment and trust.
- Sleeping with you: They prefer to sleep in your bed or on your chest.
- Greeting you enthusiastically: They might meow, run to greet you, or rub against your legs when you return home.
- Trusting you: They allow you to handle them without fear or aggression.
- Seeking your attention: They might paw at you or meow to get your attention, particularly when they want something.
Remember: While these are strong indicators, every cat is unique. Some may be more affectionate or clingy than others. The most important thing is that your kitten feels safe, loved, and cared for.
