Sharing Jesus is not canceled! When everything we can do and go is being canceled due to COVID-19 there is one thing that is not canceled … SHARING JESUS
Sharing Jesus is not canceled
Church services, small groups, Easter Services, etc. might be canceled but sharing Jesus isn’t. After all, we are the Church. The Church is not the building where we meet, but us, Christians the Body of Believers.
There are still many ways to share when we are stuck at home and on physical distancing orders. I prefer to say physical distancing and not social distancing.
Take full advantage of social media to share your faith! People are trolling social media more right now. Looking for hope and have anxiety over this Coronavirus.
The need for Jesus never changes because Jesus is the only way to Heaven. The Great Commission never stops not even during pandemics or times of isolations and quarantines.
We all have a need for Jesus. He is the answer to everything! Share Him! He is the cure! Be Bold! Be unashamed! Don’t hoard Jesus!
Everyone we come in contact with is a chance to share Jesus! I mean everyone.
- The person in the aisle with you at store
- Standing in a line
- The person in front of you
- The person behind you
- Anyone else around you
- Your cashier
- Your waiter or waitress
- Person walk by you
- Anyone that calls you (even wrong number)
- Person you call
- Bills send out can use a gospel tract
- On your social media accounts
- This list can go on and on
- Mail a random person a personalized letter and include a gospel tract
That means everyone you can see! The fields are ready! We might not see a Salvation right then. But the harvest has many parts.
- Planting of seeds
- Watering
- Tilling
- Actual harvest
We all have a part! We must do our share. Eve. The littlest part counts. Nothing we do for Him goes in vain.
It’s not just a pastors job to share but that of ALL believers aka the Church!
We can use gospel tracts too. Mail them to random people. There are still ways to use them during distancing times where we have to isolate and be quarantined.
No matter what we do, it won’t go void.
“So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.”
Isaiah 55:11 NASB
This blog has many post on sharing and evangelizing.
When thing shut down, it is not time for us as the Church to shut down. We must continue being the Church.
