See people as in a kaleidoscope
Steve, God once gave me a vision of a kaleidoscope. I felt like He was telling me that if we could see people as in a kaleidoscope and then focus them all together as one, we would see the face of God.
Connie G Cushman
Sent to my wall on March of 2013, it came up as one of my history on this day posts. I also share that image that was sent.
Remember God doesn’t see us the way man does. Go doesn’t see our race, tongue, appearance, etc. He looks at us …
He looks on the heart! (See 1 Samuel 16:7)
“But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
1 Samuel 16:7 NASB1995
When I reflect back on what Cushman said I have to agree, we can’t focus on man, we must focus on God. When we truly focus on God, we we see man like God does.
Wikipedia describes a kaleidoscope (/kəˈlaɪdəskoʊp/) is an optical instrument with two or more reflecting surfaces (or mirrors) tilted to each other at an angle, so that one or more (parts of) objects on one end of these mirrors are shown as a regular symmetrical pattern when viewed from the other end, due to repeated reflection. These reflectors are usually enclosed in a tube, often containing on one end a cell with loose, colored pieces of glass or other transparent (and/or opaque) materials to be reflected into the viewed pattern. Rotation of the cell causes motion of the materials, resulting in an ever-changing view being presented.
Below I share a screenshot if what some kaleidoscopes looks like:
