Rough Road

Rough Road Sign is the next sign in the Road Signs of the Bible Series on Courageous Christian Father. When we see this sign, we know that the road we are about to travel on is rough, it may be broken or not easily traveled. In life we travel many roads. One of these roads are the rough roads. God never promised an easy travel but that He would be with us in the travel.

Matthew 28:20 shows us that God is always with us.

Even on John 16:33 said we will go through tribulation, but not to worry because Christ has overcame the world.

It even tells us what we will be hated because we love and follow Christ. (John 15:18, Matthew 10:22, Mark 13:13)

So our Rough Road is also meant to build us. James 1:3 shows testing our faith produces perseverance. Then in Romans 5:3-4 tells us ³ And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; ⁴ and perseverance, character; and character, hope.

So sometimes the easy road or the calm road may not be the right road to take, instead the Rough Road is. So when you find yourself on the Rough Road, remember Christ is always with us. He will never leave us. He uses the rough road to build us. So keep on trucking for God!
