Prayer Is Crazy Important

I heard this on Way-FM on the Making Your Life Count segment the other day and I was like that is so true. I didn’t catch everything that was said, but I do know they mentioned Christian Comedian, Michael Jr.

I believe I was heading out of the house at the time it aired. I have heard it a couple more times. Checking it out, it was one from August 7. Steve Douglas with Making Your Life Counts was talking with Michael Jr. on prayer and Michael Jr. says we need to ask God to work on the whole earth and in our personal lives.            (Listen Below)

Go ahead and listen! It’s only one minute!

If my people will only HUMBLE themselves and pray. (Referring to 2 Chronicles 7:14.) Then I will heal their land, Michael Jr. stated. Which is true. We ALL need to seek out to God and pray to Him. After all, we are told to pray without ceasing. That means a constant communication with God.

Part of prayer is humbling ourselves. I like how Michael Jr. emphasized the word humble. If you didn’t listen to that segment, you need to listen. Just saying!

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV

Michael Jr. also goes on to say Prayer is significantly huge! You know, when I heard them say Michael Jr. and prayer on the radio, it reminded me of his skit, Pray With Your Neighbor. (Watch Below)

So who is your neighbor? EVERYONE! Everyone is your neighbor.
