Olympic Rings Power Colors
The Olympic rings are a powerful symbol in sports. The five interlaced rings represent the unity of the five inhabited continents: Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Oceania. The colors of the rings—blue, yellow, black, green, and red—along with the white background, were chosen because every national flag in the world includes at least one of these colors. This symbolizes the universality of the Olympic movement and the coming together of athletes from all over the world.
We are all called to witness and we can use current events like the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. You can use topical witnessing like this or just witness. We don’t need special events … just witness in season and out of season!
Blue was my life before Christ found me. (Luke 19:10 & Ephesians 1:4)
Gold are the streets waiting for me. (Revelation 21:21)
Black was my heart before He saved me. (Romans 3:23)
Green is the abundant life He gave me. (Psalm 23 & Romans 6:23)
Red was the Blood Christ shed for me. (Roman’s 5:8)
Winning life’s gold medal isn’t about coming in first, it’s about putting God first.
So the colors just represent the world colors, no true meanings, but you can use it to witness to people. This is just like using the power band bracelets and the jelly bean prayer
