The Old Jefferson City Library has been Bulldozed Down – It is now an empty lot. No word at this time what is going in its place. It was demolished on April 18, 2019. It took pretty much just one day to bring the building down.
City Council decided against selling it earlier this month, saying that the green space would be more valuable to the city for the future.
The library moved to its new location in the Mid-August 2015, leaving the building vacant since.
However, a rumor says the pool is expanding, but no other info has been released as this time. If more info comes in, we will update that.
