Odd and Even are numbers, as there are two basic types of numbers odd and even. Odd numbers are whole numbers that cannot be divided exactly into pairs. Even Numbers are divisible by 2.

So this palindrome says it is never odd and it also says it is never even. So what is it?

Well this is an unique palindrome where the letters are symmetrical. Where the phrase is divided in half at the double “D” in Odd. See the symmetrical palindrome below.

N-E-V-E-R O-D [] D O-R E-V-E-N

It is almost like the those letters cut in half is looking at a mirror! (Using the Brackets [] as the mirror.)
