National Suspenders Day

Suspenders are used instead of a belt to hold up your pants. They usually form an X or Y on the wearer’s back and are attached by either buttons or clips. Which the modern day suspenders were invented in 1820 by Albert Thurston.

This day is held annually on October 20.
