National Ice Cream Sandwich Day

National Ice Cream Sandwich Day – The lovely Ice Cream Cookie pretty much. Usually you are familiar with the one with chocolate cookie with vanilla ice cream. #IceCreamSandwichDay

This day is held annually on August 2. In the 1900’s the Ice Cream Sandwich only sold for one cent. Even some Food Cooking competition shows, they have the people make a homemade Ice Cream Sandwich. You can make all kids of flavors with both the ice cream and the cookie or sandwich part too. I am not sure when or how this day got started.

It is said the Ice Cream Sandwich from the store won’t melt!
