National French Fry Day a day for those people who love the deep-fried potato. Sometimes you can make them too, but most of them are deep-fried goodness. 🍟 #NationalFrenchFryDay
National French Fry Day 🍟
This day is not for those with high cholesterol or those who are on a diet. French Fries that are deep-fried can be fattening and not that good for our health. But, we all still love them. We even add salt to them for the most part too.Â
National French Fry Day is July 13 each year.
I believe this holiday is a newer holiday. I cannot seem to find how it started.
If you follow this blog, you realize I do blog about some strange holidays we have.
I like to make my own homemade french fries with real potatoes. Those are some of the best french fries.
Now of a restaurant french fry, I like Pal’s Frenchie Fries are one of the best! They are really good because they are the shoestring kind!
I like the shoestring type french fry too. However, I am not a fan of crinkle cut french fries. If I have them, they have to be extra crispy.
Let’s not forget, I also like curly fries too. For example I Like the curly fries at Arby’s. Their loaded curl fries are awesome. It has cheeses, ranch and bacon on it.
I will admit I do like melted cheese or nacho cheese on my french fries too. Even Chili Cheese Fries too.

We have a local place here in Corbin that have incredibly good french fries. I have been looking at trying french fry alternatives. Occasionally, I enjoy a good sweet potato fry- talk about super yummy.
We will have to go there sometime and eat their french fries. Now, Amber likes sweet potato fries. I didn’t like them as much, as I like a sweet baked potato.
