National Camera Day

A person who shoots photos is a photographer. Photographers use a camera. Today cameras are very accessible, as they are built into most cellular devices.

Before the camera, you had to get a painting to have a portrait done.

This day is celebrated each year on June 29.

Did you know in some places it is illegal to take pictures of certain things, animals, buildings, or towns. Check before you take a picture!
