I would like to highly recommend Courageous a very moving, inspiring, and touching Christian movie. This hit home to me. I got to see this movie February 2012.
Movie Recommendation: Courageous
I even signed the Resolution for the movie! This movie did move me and caused a lot of tears to fall from my eyes. I think more dads need to step up like these men!
The above video is a trailer of the movie.
I challenge all my men readers to watch this movie and sign the Resolution!

About the movie Courageous
Honor Begins at Home
Four men, one calling: To serve and protect. As law enforcement officers, Adam Mitchell, Nathan Hayes, David Thomson, and Shane Fuller are confident and focused. Yet at the end of the day, they face a challenge that none of them are truly prepared to tackle: fatherhood.
While they consistently give their best on the job, good enough seems to be all they can muster as dads. But they’re quickly discovering that their standard is missing the mark.
When tragedy hits home, these men are left wrestling with their hopes, their fears, their faith, and their fathering. Can a newfound urgency help these dads draw closer to God … and to their children?
Filled with action-packed police drama, COURAGEOUS is the fourth film from Sherwood Pictures, the moviemaking ministry of Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia. Riveted moviegoers will once again find themselves laughing, crying, and cheering as they are challenged and inspired by everyday heroes who long to be the kinds of dads that make a lifelong impact on their children.
Protecting the streets is second nature to these men. Raising their children in a God-honoring way? That’s courageous

I love this movie… I don’t care how tough of a man you are, this movie will make the tears fall. Every family needs to watch this.
Yes so true. I cried myself. I agree it is a must watch!
I bought it when it came out, and I bet I have watched 10 or more times, lol, Flywheel and Facing the Giants from the same makers are other good ones, I like all the movies Sherwood Pictures has put out.
Those all are good movies I seen them all!
There’s others I seen good too. The secret life if Jonathan Spreevy. Spelling? Grace Card too
Yea, I’ve seen Grace Card, that is a really good one, haven’t seen the other one, though.
I recommend it, very good Christian movie too.

I agree with you Steve! Very touching and inspirational movie! I’m a retired cop and it spoke to me loudly. I bought the DVD.
I am sure it did then Tim. It was a very moving and power. I even cried in the movie.
Steve it warms my heart to see or hear of a man who can cry. The Lord spoke to me when I was in the 7-8 grade (I was not even born again yet) and spoke to me about what is was to be a man. One of the things He taught me was that it is okay if a man cries. Remember the scripture? “And Jesus wept”! God bless brother!
You are so true Tim. It does say Jesus Wept. I believe that showed being a true strong man. World perceives being strong as something different than what God does. Thanks for the comment Tim.
Meekness shows being strong in Gods eyes. World sees meekness as weak. But we answer to God not the world.
I just used the theme song by CC in my daily post today!
Nice, I have had it for the home phone when it calls my cell as ring now the theme song.
