This was played in our church service for Mother’s Day 2023. This video goes over various mothers found in the Bible.
There all kinds of mothers mentioned in the Bible.
Here’s a list of 20 mothers mentioned in the Bible:
- Eve – The first mother, mother of all humanity².
- Sarah – Mother of Isaac, wife of Abraham¹.
- Hagar – Mother of Ishmael, maidservant to Sarah¹.
- Rebekah – Mother of Jacob and Esau, wife of Isaac¹.
- Leah – Mother of six of Jacob’s sons, including Judah and Levi².
- Rachel – Mother of Joseph and Benjamin, beloved wife of Jacob².
- Jochebed – Mother of Moses, Aaron, and Miriam².
- Hannah – Mother of Samuel, known for her devout prayer².
- Bathsheba – Mother of Solomon, wife of King David².
- Naomi – Mother-in-law of Ruth, part of the lineage of Jesus².
