Moms plot near my sisters — both resting places are maybe 10 to 15 feet apart in the same row.

Moms plot near my sisters

When my sister passed away during COVID, my mom gave up her plot for my sister and started another one. My sister is next to a neighbors my sister and I grew up knowing. It was a God thing for there to be one plot that close as that part of the cemetery was sold out.

So when family goes to visit … we can visit both spots easily and not that far apart. In the photo, I am standing at the edge of my sisters grave, if you look at the photo look for the red flags … those are my moms.

When we did mom’s graveside I went and visited my sister. My two nieces got to visit their mom and see how close their grandmother, Gram is to each other.

The day the funeral home showed me my mom’s grave I also got to visit my sister, they showed both spots because they knew how important it was to my mom. I visited Sherrie and talked to her and told her mom passed easy but I know you already know. I then got to cry some.
