Mission BBQ – This is this weeks Travel Thursday feature. I share about my experience at Mission BBQ in Chattanooga, TN. #MissionBBQ
They are a Veteran Themed BBQ joint. They have all kinds of military, police, fire, paramedic, etc. items all over the restaurant.
They Have a birthday club, where you can get a sandwich for your birthday. If you have one of these close by, may be something worth joining!
I had the brisket and my wife had the turkey. See the two images below. Both meats were very good. I’d have both again. The Mac and Cheese was good too that I had. The bread was very good too. Oh yea, they had good fries, nice seasoning on them too.
If the turkey and brisket is that good, I can only image how good the ribs or other meats are! I’d come back to try those!
I got to talk to some of the regulars that were in line and they said they always come and eat here. One said they love the shrimp and the other said the salmon was good too.
Great BBQ! I think this about ties with my Haymakers as the best BBQ. So I now have two go to places for my best BBQ.
Some photos were taken myself. Others were taken by my wife Heather Patterson.
I enjoyed all the different BBQ sauces they had. Yes, I tried all six in the container, plus one that was by the drink machine.
I will be back to a Mission BBQ. There are not many near me. We visited the location in Chattanooga, TN.
The first location was opened on September 11, 2011. (I believe in Glen Burnie, MD).

My wife and I didn’t get anything for this review. We paid for our own meals at regular full price.
