Meals for Families Container Idea simply is to buy vintage containers at a thrift shop and use them. (Take them a meal container idea) #TakeThemAMeal
Meals for Families Container Idea
This is such an awesome idea and great for any church who offers meals for families like my church does.
We have been given meals and they have told us to keep the containers, but we didn’t get those kind in the picture.
Okay to the post I saw on Facebook …
”I saw a post the other day by a lady who said she always grabs vintage casserole dishes when she sees them at thrift stores or yard sales and uses them when she brings a meal to someone! She said often they are cheaper than disposable ones and the family can either keep for themselves or pass on to someone else who needs a meal in the future! So in the spirit of reduce, reuse, renew & recycle… I thought this was a neat idea worth sharing!”

This way you are giving the family a nicer dish that they can have or give to someone else by them paying it forward with a meal. Not to mention, those look nice end might bring back memories too!
We plan to in the future to help families in our church in the near future with a meal in their time of need, like they did for when my sister passed away and when my wife had major surgery.
Our church uses Take them a meal so you can schedule who and when. (takethemameal.com)
