International Polar Bear Day

International Polar Bear Day is an annual event celebrated every February 27 to raise awareness about the conservation of the polar bear. #PolarBearDay

Polar bears can reach a height of 9 ft tall and a weight of 1400 pounds.  

This day has been celebrated annually since 2011 and founded by the Polar Bears International which sponsors educational challenges annually.
