If Loving God Was A Crime, Church Sign

The George Street United Methodist Church in Jefferson City puts a good question on their church sign. This church sign was up around March of 2017. They asked. “If loving God was a Crime, would you be in jail?”

We do have an advantage that we live free country where we can serve God, but there are other countries that you cannot. Perhaps one day, the United States might be one of those countries. Would you give your life for God, like God gave His Son for us?

We can only say what we believe we would do, but we truly won’t know until we are in that situation. I just hope and pray that I would be found Guilty. Speaking of pleading Guilty, I love the song by Newsboys called Guilty.
