How I Found Out About Santa Claus — Recently I was talking to group of people about telling kids the truth about Santa Claus and it put in my memory when I was a young kid and when I found out.
How I Found Out About Santa Claus
If you don’t know, my mom recently passed away and it is interesting how certain things bring back suppressed memories or memories long forgotten. I plan to try to blog about it as part of my grief healing.
I overheard or walked in on my mom talking to someone on the phone and she mentioned about her needing to put out the Christmas presents from Santa Claus.
I forgot how old I was. But internet wasn’t around then.
I think I cried. My sister was younger and mom told me not to tell her. Mom even let me help put out the Christmas presents that year by playing Santa. That year, I got to put out our presents from Santa Claus.
I don’t even recall when mom told my sister either.
Anyways, today with technology, I’m surprised more kids don’t know the truth, as they have access to the information super highway and other kids already knowing.
