Hobby Lobby Wins Contraceptive Ruling in Supreme Court

Hobby Lobby  a Christian based business took a huge stand. Religious stand at that. I’m very proud of their stand and standing up for birth control, namely the morning after pill aka abortion pill. You can say the murder pill.

Abortion is murder killing one of God’s creations. Taking the life of an innocent one. Remember this, God knew us in the womb and ever before we were in the womb. (Jeremiah 1:5 & Psalm 139:13) Mind you this is way before all the science we have on biology and stuff.

Check these segments from some news sources:

Supreme Court sides with Hobby Lobby against mandated emergency contraceptives under Obamacare. The Supreme Court has ruled in favor of Hobby Lobby which is owned by a Christian family. The ruling means businesses with religious objections can opt out of Obamacare requirements to offer emergency contraceptives for employees. Many calling this a win for religious freedom. They argued the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, violates the First Amendment and other federal laws protecting religious freedom because it requires them to provide coverage for contraceptives like the “morning-after pill,” which the companies consider tantamount to abortion. (KCRA.com)

Since the company’s creation in 1972, Christianity has infused the culture of the chain of craft shops, dictating everything from its hours of operation to the choice to remain privately controlled. “We believe wholeheartedly that it is by God’s grace and provision that Hobby Lobby has been successful,” David Green, the company’s chief executive and founder, said in September 2012, announcing the company’s plans for a lawsuit. “We simply cannot abandon our religious beliefs to comply with this mandate.” (NY Times)

We need more places standing up for our religious freedoms. A lot of these freedoms are being taken away. After all our country was founded on the belief of God. I hope and pray we can have more Christian business take a stand, as well as, individuals. We need FREEDOM FIGHTERS!

They’re not forcing their religious beliefs on their employees. They are just standing up for their faith in what they believe in. They believe in abortions being wrong. And the form of contraceptives that you’re talking about abort a child.

Also they are not taking away all forms of birth control, they do not want to support or fund ones that abort a child.

I firmly believe if you’re a Christian you should be able to run your business as a Christian business with Christian beliefs. Such as closing early for church services on Wednesday and being closed on Sundays.

Any benefit packages goes against their beliefs then they shouldn’t have to have to offer it.

I have only been to the Hobby Store a few times, but it is a nice story inside. They have crafts that you can do with your family. Plus they have tons of home decor to decorate your home or office.
