Graham helps bring prayer, hope and healing with Decision Texas: The Lone Star Tour. Franklin Graham, who was in Texas shortly after Hurricane Harvey with chaplains and relief teams from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse, which are now working in five locations across the state to help people who have suffered storm and flood damage, will return next month with Decision Texas: The Lone Star Tour. Plus, Graham will be asking Texans to join him in praying for recovery not only from the storm, but for the miracle America desperately needs to solve the political, racial and cultural divisions plaguing our country.

Graham helps bring prayer, hope and healing with Decision Texas: The Lone Star Tour. The tour begins October 11, 2017 in Lubbock, TX with prayer, music and life-changing message of hope. Locations and dates for these one-day events, planned months ago and will begin October 11 at 7:30 p.m. when Graham kicks off the tour at Lubbock’s Mackenzie Park South.
Following Lubbock, the tour will continue across Texas with events in Midland, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Round Rock, Waco and Longview. In May, Graham held similar events in Tennessee that drew 22,500 people.
“Our country is in trouble and needs prayer more than ever. We desperately need a spiritual transformation,” said Graham, president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and the international Christian relief organization Samaritan’s Purse. “Christians are the key to this spiritual transformation in America, and that’s why I will be challenging people in Texas to stand boldly for God, live according to biblical principles and get involved in their communities.”
[pullquote]“The most critical thing you can do is pray, pray, pray. The intercession of God’s people is crucial if we are to see a return to the Biblical faith of our fathers, the faith that has guided and sustained our country for so long.”

All of the Decision Texas: The Lone Star Tour events will feature prayer, live music from Texas-native and Grammy-nominated artist Crowder, and a message of hope from Graham. The family-friendly events will conclude with fireworks. The Texas tour is free, and everyone is invited to attend.
“We all face crossroads in our lives—moments when we need to make important decisions,” said Graham. “Through these events across Texas, people will have the opportunity to make a decision that can impact their lives not only now, but for eternity.”
Graham said that even as he traveled to all 50 state capitals last year with Decision America Tour, speaking to and praying with more than 230,000 people who joined him along the way, he felt a calling to share the same life-changing message of Jesus Christ in smaller towns across the country where larger events may not typically visit.

About Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts
The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association sent crisis-trained chaplains from its Rapid Response Team to Texas immediately after Hurricane Harvey hit the state. They have been praying with people to help bring spiritual and emotional support. The chaplains are teaming up with the international Christian relief organization Samaritan’s Purse, working in Houston, Pearland, Santa Fe, Rockport/Portland and Victoria to help people impacted by storm damage and flooding.
The Lone Star Tour
In October, they will hold the one-day evangelistic events across Texas. Franklin Graham will present the Gospel at each event, calling the lost to repentance and faith—and praying together with believers for our families, churches, communities, and those far from God. Each city will also feature live music. We want to saturate Texas with the Good News of Jesus Christ, and we are praying that many will come to know Him. DecisionTexas.com
