God is Bright – Attribute Of God – Day 24 – On the 24th day we had to read and write Psalm 84:11-12 and share the attribute(s) of God as part of the 31 Days of the Attributes of God.

“For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, How blessed is the man who trusts in You!”

Because He is sun that makes him bright and warm. Sun gives off both light and warmth. But light also reveals. When we look to God we see how sinful we are and how Glorious and Holy He is. But, God sent His son to to wash away that from us. So He gives us warmth in knowing those born again are saved through Jesus Christ. That saving power allows us to be protected. Because He gives us that gift, He shows us grace.
