· Soft Pretzels: These are a yummy salty treat that a lot of people enjoy. They are formed from dough and then baked and topped with thick salt. People will dip them in mustard or cheese.

· Anything on a stick: Each year fair vendors experiment with culinary oddities that can be served on a stick. One day it may be skewered pork chops and the next a sleeve of cookies. Those who want the full fair experience should consider trying something served on a stick.

I worked at a place called Corn Dog on a Stick as a teenager. They had a think called a cheese bar. It was a block of cheese, then dipped in corn dog batter and deep fried. It was very yummy dipped in marinara sauce.
