If the devil is knocking on your front door …

While I was passing through Harrogate, TN on July 8, 2017, I saw this church sign from Harrogate United Methodist Church. I wanted to share it with my readers.

This church signs reads … “If the devil is knocking at your front door, Let Jesus answer it.”

We need to give it all to Jesus. He is the answer to everything. When we open the door, we tend to invite Satan in. If we allow Jesus to open the door, Satan will flee. Remember Satan has to flee in the name of Jesus. Actually the Bible tells us we must resist the devil! James 4:7. That means do not answer the door when the devil knocks. Also, remember that in the name of Jesus, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess too. (Romans 14:11, Philippians 2:10, Revelation 5:13)
