Count Your Buttons Day

Extra buttons are very important to have handy. Those buttons that help close up our clothes often can come off or missing. I am not sure who or when this day was created. I am not even sure why. I guess it might be to raise awareness of keeping extra buttons?

However, could this day not mean the buttons we put on clothes, but those like elections use or advertising buttons? Sometimes there are called pins.

I use the Advertising type buttons on my pirate costume. I don’t think I ever have counted how many buttons I have. That includes the sewing buttons, campaign buttons or advertising buttons.

This day is held annually on October 21.

This holiday is not clear on which type of buttons to count either.

Maybe this holiday can help to remind us to count our blessings?
