Working with the youth at church, you learn a lot from the youth. One of these is on cell phones when we go on trips, they will put it on Airplane Mode. I asked them why they do that. They informed me it help conserve your battery. It helps it because we may go in areas with no coverage, in those areas your phone works harder to try to find a signal, thus using more battery. They also say to conserve your battery you need to disable Bluetooth and WiFi, if you are not using them.
These all make perfect sense to me. I know my cheap prepaid phone I have, the battery goes quick, unlike the iPhone I priory had on a paid contract.
As humans we have a battery, per say. We get drained and tired. What do we do to recharge our battery? We often eat and sleep to recharge our battery.
What can we do to conserve our spiritual battery? Don’t Worry!
Easier said then done, I know. But we must not worry about the future (Matthew 6:34). God has it in his hands. We are to leave and trust everything to Him. A total dependence on Him and Him alone. Look at Proverbs 3:5-6, it tells us, Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;Â In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. That verse shows that God has it all. He will direct our paths. Prayer also helps!
Airplane Mode is also like a Do Not Disturb Mode. We can use our Air Plane Mode and take the time to reflect on God. Read His Word, Study It, Pray and more. Take time to repent for sin too!
This has been another blog brief on food for thought.

we all need to recharge & time with God is what recharges us & helps us grow. This busy world wants to try to make us feel guilty about taking time to be with God. But we need it. it is not a luxury, it is a necessity.
I so agree, thank you Lynn Poe We do, God is our recharging station. He is who we need to plug into.
