Christian Motorcyclist Association – A Christian Ministry on two wheels (motorcycle) or even three wheels (trike) to reach not only the motorcycling community but other people too.

One of the things I like to feature on Courageous Christian Father is Christian Ministries. This time the ministry I am blogging about is Christian Motorcyclist Association. This ministry is international and started in 1975. Herb Shreve, an Arkansas pastor started this ministry. He started as he purchased a motorcycle to reach out to his rebellious son. As they attended rallies and more they realized there was no one reaching out to motorcyclist.

This is a ministry and not a club! With the ministry having more than 125,000 members and over 1,200 chapters in all 50 states and in 31 foreign countries!  These men and women go to rallies and help share Jesus to the communities, rallies, etc.

Their Vision:

Changing the world, one heart at a time.

How they accomplish their vision:

• Evangelistic outreach primarily, but not exclusively, to the motorcycling community.
• Run for the Son, where we will partner with ministries with world-reaching potential.
• Equipping our members in ministry training that aligns itself with Biblical truths.
• A servant’s attitude to the world and to our members (i.e. Here if you need us).
• Quality products that aid in evangelistic outreach.
• An effective WorkCenter support team.

Their Mission:

To inspire our leaders and members to be the most organized, advanced, equipped, financially stable organization, full of integrity in the motorcycling industry and the Kingdom of God.

Their Doctrinal Statement:

The Christian Motorcyclists Association is interdenominational and evangelistic in nature. They believe in:

• The Bible as the inspired and infallible Word of God.
• One God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
• The virgin birth and deity of Christ, His explicit atoning death, bodily resurrection and ascension.
• Salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ.
• The sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit who enables a believer to live holy.
• The second coming of Jesus Christ.
