Christ is Soon to Come, A poem written by Steve Patterson on 11/1/1998.

This is another one of my free verse style poems that I wrote November 1, 1998. I wrote a lot of poems while I was in high school and college. You can say that is when I got my start in writing before blogging. I have shared some of these poems on Courageous Christian Father. Make sure you follow this blog, so you won’t miss when I share a new poem. I plan to share more of my older poetry writings in the future.

Christ is Soon to Come

Christ is soon to come,
so no excuses to act dumb.
so get to know Him.
and tell all of them,
Ready is what they need to be,
with a life in piety for God to see.
He can come any day now,
so go to Him in prayer and bow,
talk to God with thanksgiving and prayer,
and show Him how much you care.
With all you do give God your trust,
this is something  that’s a must.
So Christ is soon to come,
so don’t act dumb.
