As we embark on a New Year, this church sign from Cheerful Hope Baptist Church reminds us that we may have changed our calendar but God will never change. This church sign actually reads, “The Calendar Changes God Never Does Forever O Lord Your Word Is Firmly Fixed in the Heavens. Please Join Us!

The last part comes from Psalm 119:89. It is part of the ל Lamed (pronounced “lah-med”) acronym of the twelfth character in the Hebrew Alphabet. That last part is this Forever O Lord Your Word Is Firmly Fixed in the Heavens. This is the actual King James Version of that verse. “For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.”
