American Sign Language — my mom would lol d teach my sister and I some signs as she was learning it.

My mom kept going to further her education and one of them was to get a certificate of deafness. She has to take ASL classes to learn sign language.

Mom would also show us signs to avoid or to not do repetitively, doing it twice or more can make it turn into something bad or a bad word.

American Sign Language (ASL) is a complete, natural language with its own grammar and syntax. It is primarily used by Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals in the United States and Canada. ASL is expressed through hand gestures, facial expressions, and body movements. It is not a universal language, and each country has its own sign language. ASL is a complex language that requires dedicated learning and practice.

Other countries have their own versions like British Sign Languages (BSL).

I know very little signs, maybe the basics.

My mom would sign in church during the worship songs.

Thank you Lord for giving the deaf, hard of hearing and the mute a way to communicate.
