The final count down begins. My daughter will be 18 years old in a month at the time of this posting.

Amber’s Count Down To 18

She has been counting down the days for some time now. It is hard to believe I will soon have an adult child. Time sure does fly by and the children grow up way too fast. It is almost like in the blink of an eye and they are grown. If you are reading this and you have small children, enjoy them while you can because soon they will be grown adults even though they are still your child.

Do you remember being that age and counting it down? As parents we don’t want to rush that age to get here because we know that they will soon be off starting their own lives away from us. But, it is something they must do.

We just pray that they will continue to follow of God and keep godly people in their lives. Proverbs 22:6 tells us to train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
