25 Years of being an Eagle Scout

25 Years of being an Eagle Scout – It has been 25 years now since I attained the highest rank in the BOY Scouts of America. That was back when Boy Scouting was Boy Scouting. #EagleScout #BoyScouts

I had my border of review in 1994. Time sure does seem to fly by so fast!

Once An Eagle, Always An Eagle

For my Eagle Scout project I did landscaping at the church I was a member of at that time, Alice Bell Baptist Church.

The above picture of me is from my Eagle Scout Banquet held March 14, 1995. This banquet was held to honor all the Eagles Scouts class of 1994 in the Great Smoky Mountain Council. My sponsor was Daryl Akins of Akins & Tombras Public Relations.

My Eagle Scout ceremony was held at Alice Bell Baptist in Knoxville, TN on September 4th 1994. Jim Duncan Jr. from the the Senate sent a representative for him to come to present me with an America Flag that was flown over the Capitol.
